Elsie M. Brandon Elsie M. Brandon, 92, of Chillicothe, died 11:59 pm, Sunday, October 14, 2007, in her home, unexpectedly. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday in the Haller Funeral Home, with Elder Clifford Brown and Rev. Phillip Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Thursday at Haller's. She was born April 6, 1915 in Jackson, OH to Henry and Clara Thompson Powell. She married Paul G. Brandon Sr., who died in 1994. Survivors include her children, Lucille (Angelo) Turner, of Chillicothe and Paul (Kelly) Brandon Jr., of Columbus; 4 grandchildren, Jermaine and Leland Brandon, Marcus Bates, and Dominic Turner; two great-grandchildren, Jama' Brandon and Kimara Green; a sister, Evelyn Powell, of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Peggy Gregory. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, William Powell. Mrs. Brandon was a member of First Baptist Church.
