Ellsworth E. "Joe" Trent, 66, of Frankfort, OH, passed October 24, 2011, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born December 25, 1944 in Piketon, OH to the late James A. and Mary M. Trent, Sr. Survivors include a special devoted friend of 25 years, Lynn McCarley; her daughter, Fabrienna Hannan, and her granddaughter, Jessica; Joe's three sisters, Anna Lowe, Julia (Floyd) Lowe, Sr., and Madaline Trent; a sister-in-law, Alice Trent; a brother-in-law, William Tucker; two special nephews, Garrett (Jerri) Trent, Sr. and Garrett "GT" Trent, Jr.; two special nieces, Mary Scott and Brittani Trent; an aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cosby; an uncle, Thomas Simmons; and several other nieces; nephews; relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by five sisters, Cora Brown, Mary Green, Evelyn Green, Gloria Scott, and Charlotte Tucker and a brother, James A. Trent, Jr. Mr. Trent retired from Kenworth Truck Co. in 2007 following 32 years of service. Previously he had worked for the Wearever Corporation for ten years. He was a member of the Ross Co. Farm Service Agency and loved to hunt, fish, travel, work cattle, and farm. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call 11:30 – 1:30 Saturday at Haller's.
