Ella Louise McMahon, 80, of Chillicothe, died March 31, 2022, at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
She was born October 11, 1941 in Akron, OH to the late Leo T. and Elma I. Hampton Brown. On January 30, 1965 she married Joe L. McMahon, who died September 16, 2017. Survivors include a daughter, Robyn (John) Clohessy, of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Abigail, Sara and Davys; and a close friend, Constance Jones.
Mrs. McMahon was a Registered Nurse and retired from the VA Medical Center-Chillicothe in 2005. She was a graduate of Western College, received her master's degree from Miami of Ohio, and a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University. She was a also a teacher and director of the March of Dimes. She enjoyed time as a member of the Scioto Valley Bird and Nature Club.
Following cremation, private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the WCAA Emergency Scholarship, Western College Alumni Association, through Miami University. Her online memorial register is available at www.HallerFuneralHome.com.
