Elizabeth Moore

Elizabeth Ann Willis Moore, 44, of Chillicothe, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a long battle with cancer. She was born December 28, 1967 in Circleville to late John S. and Rachel M. Speakman Willis. On July 9, 1985 she married Roger A. Moore, who survives. In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Roger A. Moore Jr.; brothers, Robert and Malachi Willis; her mother-in-law, Georgiann Moore; her father-in-law, Dennis Moore and his wife Reagan; sisters-in-law Penny (Mark) Short, Sandra Moore, Ashley Moore and Melissa Holbrook Moore. She was preceded in death by a brother, John S. Willis Jr. and a brother-in-law, Dennis Moore Jr. Mrs. Moore retired as a Lieutenant from the Chillicothe Fire Department, where she served as a paramedic and firefighter instructor. She also retired as an Assistant Chief from the Springfield Twp. Fire department. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Sunday at Lighthouse Baptist Church, Pastor Ryan Bevan officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingston National Bank, Elizabeth A. Moore Memorial Fund, 2 North Main St., Kingston, OH 45644, for the benefit of her son's education.
