Elizabeth Cotterman-Hess

Elizabeth Cotterman-Hess, 78, of Chillicothe, died at 1:55pm Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was born November 10, 1931, in Ross County to the late Ira William, Sr. and Bonnie (Smith) Seymour. Surviving are her daughters Judy Ison, of Chillicothe; Mary Jones, Chillicothe; Karen Cotterman, Columbus; and a son Wayne Cotterman, Chillicothe; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers Nick and Ira Seymour, Jr, both of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husbands Walter Cotterman and Alvin Hess; a daughter Sherrie Griffey; a son Randy Cotterman; and a son-in-law Carl Jones. Mrs. Hess was a member of Tyler United Methodist Church and had attended while her health permitted her to do so. Graveside services will be conducted at Noon Friday, July 16, in Greenlawn Cemetery, with Rev. Richard Birk officiating. At her request, calling hours will not be observed.
