Elizabeth Brundige

Elizabeth "Betty" Ann (McCarty) Brundige, 77, of Waverly, formerly of Chillicothe, died 12:55am Friday July 11, 2008, in Riverside Methodist Hospital following an extended illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00pm Tuesday, July 15, in St. Peter Catholic Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 11am until 12:30pm at Haller Funeral Home. Betty was born March 7, 1931, in Chillicothe to the late Nelson H. and Agnes Fink McCarty. On October 12, 1957, she married Floyd S. Brundige, who preceded her in death on August 23, 1988. She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law Kathleen M. McNaughton, Chillicothe; Rose Marie (Elmer) Shoemaker, Chillicothe; Norma Jean Horn, Waverly; Rita A. Sanders, Chillicothe; Theresa E. (Dean) Williams, Chillicothe; Bernadette G. (Edsel) Duty, Chillicothe; brothers and sisters-in-law Frederich J. (Rosemary) McCarty, Mason, OH; and Robert F. (Mary Lou) McCarty, Cambridge, OH; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers William N. and Patrick E. McCarty. Betty was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, AARP, and the Ross Co. Senior Citizens.
