Elinor Hummel

Elinor A. (McKee) Hummel, 92, of Chillicothe, passed away on November 9, 2006. She was born June 17, 1914, in Miamisburg, OH, to the late Ernest C. and Claudie I (Conrad) Sannan. She resided in Delaware, OH, until 1999, when she moved to Ross Co. and resided with her son-in-law Robert S. Cox and now deceased daughter Betty Lou Cox. In addition to her daughter Betty, she was predeceased by husbands Merl M. McKee and Ralph Hummel; a daughter Patricia A. Morgan; and a sister Elsie Lightcap. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Elinor was a 40 year employee with the A & P Company and enjoyed 20 years of volunteer work with the Veterans Hospital in Columbus. She enjoyed life and enjoyed traveling all over the United States and to several countries abroad. She especially enjoyed her visits to London, England. Funeral services will be held at Noon, Monday, November 13, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Dwayne Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
