Eleanor Vasilik

Eleanor J. Vasilik, 82, of Chillicothe, formerly of East Springfield, PA, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at her home, following an extended illness. She was born July 23, 1929 in Cleveland, OH to the late Rex T. and Lois M. Plunkett Eaton. On April 5, 1951 she married John Vasilik, who survives. Also surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Walter Bagnall, of Chillicothe; granddaughter and husband, Amanda and Josh Ebert; grandson, Alex Bagnall; two brothers, Gilbert (Juanita) Eaton and Roger (Janet) Eaton; a sister, Carol (Richard) Horton; and many nieces and nephews including a special nephew and his wife, Richard and Barb Eaton. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lawrence (June) Eaton. Mrs. Vasilik was a Jehovah's Witness and a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm, August 6, 2011, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, West Springfield, PA.
