Eleanor Coy

Eleanor F. Coy, 74, of Chillicothe, died 10:36 am, Monday, September 13, 2010, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1936 in Ross Co. to John and Lexie Merritt Price. In 1977 she married David R. Coy, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Rick (Deb), Brian (Michelle), Kevin (Melissa), and Jeff (Debbie) Hice, all of Chillicothe, John (Carolyn) Hice, of West Palm Beach, FL and Tammy Coy, of Chillicothe; two step-children, Jeff Coy and Rhonda (Kenny) Smith, both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Tony (Mindy), Jaime, and Chris Hice, Shaun (Robin) Jones, Chasity (Brad) Lowery, Misty (and Fiancee Charles) and Chad (Sherina) Hice, Ashley (Jason) Colegrove; step-grandchildren, Colton (Kayla) Detty and Dylan Coy; 18 great grandchildren; a sister, Avanal Jones, of Chillicothe; a sister-in-law, Hilda Price, of Londonderry; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Price and three sisters, Ruby Riddle, Loraine Price, and Lucille McKinney. Mrs. Coy was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Thursday at Haller's.
