Edward Wolfe

September 24, 1931 — February 5, 2018

Edward K. "Ned" Wolfe, 86, of Chillicothe, died 12:54 pm, Monday, February 05, 2018, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.   He was born September 24, 1931 in Pickaway Co. to the late Harrison and Ursula McMullin Wolfe. On September 15, 1952 he married Joan Evelyn Brown, who died October 24, 2014. Survivors include two daughters, Dianna J. (Philip) Gray and Marcella Wolfe, both of Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Daniel A. (Alisha) Gray and Kaitlyn Wolfe; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan D. and Brandon P. Gray. He was preceded in death by a twin brother, Theodore Wolfe; a brother, Roy M. Wolfe, and a sister, Patricia Pontious.   Mr. Wolfe was a lifelong and very dedicated farmer. Ned and his wife loved the farm.  Ned wanted nothing more than to plant his fields, watch the crops grow, and harvest at the end of the season.  Ned is recognized as a farmer of great ability and character. He will be given charge over many fields in his heavenly place.    Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call 12:00 – 2:00 pm Saturday at Haller's.
