Edward Hurff

Edward Anthony Hurff II, 68, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died at 7:31 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 following a one-week illness. He was born on July 31, l941 in Chillicothe, to Edward and Norma (Staat) Hurff. On December 14, 1976 he married the love of his life, Jennifer Diehl, who survives. Other survivers are a sister, Linda (Hurff) Rourke, brothers and sisters-in-law Michael & Barbara (LaRock) Hurff and Matthew and Rebecca (Lutz) Hurff, sister-in-law Jeanne (Diehl) Blair, brothers and sisters-in-laws David and Vicki Diehl, Sonny Diehl and Bob and Donna Diehl. He was loved by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and a brother-in-law Michael Rourke. He graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1959. He worked helping his Dad at the Warner Tavern for many years before moving to Las Vegas. Memorial contributions can be made to Bishop Flaget School, 570 Parsons Ave., Chillicothe.
