Edna Louise Gambill

Edna L. (Smith) Gambill, 78, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August, 2, 2026, following a brief illness. She was born on November 22, 1947, to the late Marvin and Hazel (Hinty) Smith, in Circleville, Ohio. On January 31, 2001, she was united in marriage to Daniel Gambill, who preceded her in death on April 7, 2021.

She is survived by her loving children, Tracy (Chas) Kottenbrook, Wayne (Melissa) Baxter, Kevin (Holly) Baxter; grandchildren, Brenton, Bailey, Keagan, and Dani Kottenbrook, Tyler, Levi, and Harlie Schaffer, Morgan, Gracie, and Sophia Baxter, Addison and Ace Hickey; great grandchildren, Jolene, Bentley, Paislee, Royce, and Hennessey; brothers, Bobby, Kenny, and Ray Smith, and sister, Betty Patterson; and her beloved dog, Dusty.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by grandchildren, Randy, Noah, Kaydee, Collin, Addison, and Clay Kottenbrook; brothers, Wayne and David Smith; sisters, Cathy Pernell and Mary Bennett.

Edna enjoyed thrifting at Ollie’s and Goodwill, and was always finding yard sales to stop at. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by many.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no public services.
