Edith Vogel

Edith H. Vogel, 86, of Chillicothe, died at 3:15pm Sunday, April 1, 2007. She was born September 8, 1920, in Trinity, KY, to the late Elmer and Ethel Henderson. On April 5, 1953, she married Robert S. Vogel who survives. Also surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Robert Steven (Victoria) Vogel II, of Bucyrus, OH; and her son Walter Edward Vogel, of Athens, OH. She was predeceased by her brothers Woodrow and Wayne Henderson. Edith was a life member of the American Legion, Post 757 Auxiliary and was a Past President. She was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She worked as a payroll clerk for the former Ohio Valley Electric. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Rossman officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5-8pm Wednesday at Haller's, where an American Legion Auxiliary service will be held at 7:30pm.
