Earl Drummond

Earl W. Drummond, Jr., 65, of Londonderry, died at 5:15pm Saturday, May 24, 2008, in his home following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm Tuesday, May 27, in the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 11am until 12:30pm. Earl was born May 16, 1943, in Akron, OH, to Earl W., Sr. and Mary Jane Brenner Drummond. On September 6, 1982, he married the former Linda L. Eastman, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mary Jane Drummond, Londonderry; children Stephen (Heather) Drummond, Londonderry; Terry (Susan) Ellison, Parkersburg, WV; Sandra Thunehorst, Battle Mountain, NV; Gina (Mark) O'Sickey, Plainfield, IN; Troy (Chastity) Lougheed, Warm Springs, GA; grandchildren: Justin Drummond, Jordyn Drummond, Cybreen Goody, Ashton Goody, Matt Ellison, Amber Ingham, Alicia Alvarez, Timothy Ellison, Tony Buchel, Cory Buchel, Jace Buchel, Autumn Thunehorst, Mark O'Sickey, Jr., Michael O'Sickey, Carson O'Sickey, Desiree' Lougheed, Alex Gordy, Hannah Lougheed, and Jozy Lougheed; and a great-granddaughter Emma Ingham. He was predeceased by his father. Earl retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in 2006, where he worked as an Area Field Manager. He graduated from Akron University in 1972. He served in the National Guard from 1965-1971. He attended the United Church of God, was a member of Coventry Lodge 645 F & AM, and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite.
