Dylan Ogle

June 5, 1981 — February 8, 2025

It is with heavy and yet hopeful hearts, we announce the passing of Dylan Jacob Ogle, a beloved husband, father, and a friend to many, but most importantly the faithful servant of Jesus Christ whom he loved and for whom he lived. In one breath, Dylan peacefully crossed over from this life into Jesus's arms on the morning of February 8, 2025, at the age of 43, surrounded by the ones he loved the most. Despite his hard battle with brain cancer, he always remained grateful and faithful to his Lord, Jesus Christ, and worshiped Him till the end.

Dylan was born on June 5, 1981, in Sarasota, Florida to Mark Lee Ogle and Lorraine Lynn Mark, both deceased. He did not have an easy life growing up but God sought him, found him and used him in a mighty way. Dylan's grandmother Fern Ogle was the one to plant the first seeds of faith in him. Eventually, Dylan dedicated his life to helping people struggling with addiction and mental illness by pointing them to the ONLY WAY, which can be found in JESUS. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling from Ohio Christian University and his Master's Degree in Mental Health from Miami University. Besides helping people and pointing them to Christ, Dylan loved to play drums, draw, paint, and carve. God has given him many amazing talents that Dylan used for His glory. Dylan also enjoyed hiking and took his kids with him often. Above all, Dylan loved being a dedicated husband to his wife of 12 years, Inna, and a devoted father to his three beautiful children, Neeka, Teema, and Meela, who miss him tremendously.

Dylan's ability to relate to people, to listen without judgment, to give biblical counsel and to pray for them were attributes that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. In addition to his wife, Dylan is survived by his three children, Neeka Lorraine Ogle, Teema Mark Ogle, Meela Lynn Ogle, of Chillicothe,OH; his brother, Ben Ogle, of Cambridge, OH; his mother-in-law, Tetiana Melnychuk and his brother-in-law, Oleksandr Melnychuk, of Chillicothe, OH; his stepmom, Lynn Ricci, of Walpole, NH, his "adopted" father and mother, Rick and Kitty Zerger, of Caldwell, OH; his uncles and aunts, Steven and Karen Ogle, of Woodsfield, OH; John and Elaine Ogle, of Mason, WV; Jeff and Sharon Steele, of Bradenton, FL; Cindy Mark, of Rochester, NY; as well as all his cousins.

Dylan Ogle finished the race and heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." His inspirational faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is now sight! As in John 11:25 states, " I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."

Dylan will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his legacy of Christ will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, Febraury 15, 2025 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, with Pastor Ryan Bevan officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may join the family for vistation from 10:00am until the time of the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lighthouse Baptist Church in his honor.
