Dwight E. Bowen, 64, of Chillicothe, died 2:02 pm, Thursday, June 03, 2010, at home, following an extended illness.
He was born July 20, 1945 in Chillicothe to the late Herman H. and Cora L. Duckett Bowen. On May 1, 1968 he married the former Cathy Sue Weaver, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Denny Clark, Gloria (Fred) Wolford, Becky (Brent) Fleming, and Lisa (Danny) Cordell, all of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, Candi Waugh, Olivia Wolford, Gage Cordell and Brandon Cordell; two sisters, Gloria (William) Bonner, of Chillicothe and Vicki (Larry) Morgan, of Kentucky. Also surviving is his Sophia Lea, his beloved Yorkie. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Herman E. and Norman L. Bowen.
Mr. Bowen was a retired automotive mechanic with Brown's BP on High St.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Bruce Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Monday at Haller's.
