Dorothy Mccloskey

Dorothy A. McCloskey, 77, of Bainbridge, died at 9:06am Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Maple View Manor, Bainbridge.   She was born June 10, 1936, in Chillicothe, to the late Albert R. and Mary E. (Carrol) Gray. On June 4, 1955, she married Ray A. McCloskey, who preceded her in death on March 14, 2012.   She is survived by her children Ranae (Bryan) Stratton, of Bainbridge; Dennis (Brenda) McCloskey, Frankfort; Eydie (Sammie) Cooper, Bainbridge; grandchildren: Caleb and Clay Stratton; Heather Dunham; Hillary McCloskey; Amanda Smith; Jessica Gilliland; Maria Wallin; great-grandchildren: Triston, Caden, Cordell, Brittany, Bryson, Olivia, Isaiah, Regan, Abram, Lawson; and a sister Carol McCloskey. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two grandchildren: Jeremy Grubb and Kelsey Stratton; a brother Kenny Gray; and a sister Josephine Thurman.   Mrs. McCloskey was a member of Storms Chapel Church for over 40 years. She was a graduate of Chillicothe High School and retired from Paint Valley High School where she worked as an aid. She loved horseback riding and camping, she loved her kids at school, her church family and especially her biological family.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday, May 5, at Storms Chapel Church with Rev. Sammie Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 4-6pm at Haller Funeral Home.
