Dorothy Harwell

Dorothy “Dotti” L. (May) Harwell, 74, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on March 3, 2026, following an extended illness. She was born on January 27, 1952, to the late Robert and Dorothy (Zickafoos) May. On December 19, 1981, she was united in marriage to Larry Harwell, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Jared Harwell and Alex (Rochelle) Harwell; grandchildren, Gavin, Tessa, Triniti, Rylee, and Scarlette; sisters, Betty Ann (Tim) Doles, Lori (Roger) Oyer, Dawn (Gene) Oyer, Janet (Russ) Coffill; brothers, Chuck and Rob May; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Kelly, and sister-in-law Vicki May.

Dotti loved reading any book she could get her hands on. She also enjoyed crafting of any kind. Most of all, Dotti enjoyed spending time with her family.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10. 2026, at Haller Funeral Home at 1:00pm, with burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of service.
