Dorothy Graves

Dorothy A. Graves, 80, of Kingston, died at 10:22pm Monday, April 19, 2010, in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born July 9, 1929, in Chillicothe, to the late Forest E. and Jennie Dennewitz Gilmore. She is survived by her sons Jack L. Graves, of Chillicothe; and Michael C. Graves, of Kingston; grandchildren: Bill Graves, John Graves, Shane Graves and Deanna Simmons; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon E. Graves; her son, William W. Graves; her granddaughter Jillian M. Graves; and her brother Charlie Gilmore. Mrs. Graves managed the former Burger Chef restaurant for over 18 years. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, April 22, in McDill Cemetery under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. At her request, calling hours will not be observed.
