Doris Mccann

Doris E. McCann, 94, of Chillicothe, died at 2:30pm November 21, 2022, at Adena Regional Medical Center.   She was born January 6, 1928, in Ross County to the late Joseph and Florence (Stuart) Cockrell.  On July 24, 1946, she married William E. McCann, who preceded her in death on October 23, 1999.   Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law Gary (Dianna) McCann, of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Brian McCann, John "JW" McCann, Daniel McCann, David McCann, Brandi (Nathan) Uhrig and Samantha (Kevin) Williams, all of Chillicothe; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister Betty Jo Cochenour; a brother-in-law Berlin McCann; and nieces and nephews: Toni McCann, Mark McCann and Pamela McCann.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter Cathy McCann.   Doris was a member of the Sunrush Church of Christ and a devoted reader of the Bible.  She enjoying sewing prior to dealing with arthritis.   The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 3-5pm at the Sunrush Church of Christ.  Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Twin Twp. Cemetery under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
