Donna True

Donna L. True, 97, of Grove City, died Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Story Point Assisted Living, Grove City, following a brief illness.   She was born December 1, 1925 in Ross Co. to the late Matthew B. and Bertha L. Bradford McCormick.  On November 12, 1950 she married Leslie "Les" S. True, who died August 19, 2021.  Survivors include several loving nieces and nephews, Robert (Anni) Reed, Colorado Springs, Charlotte (Robert) Parker, Cincinnati, Lloyd (Patty) Reed, Connie Garrison, and Dorsey (Jackie) True, all of Chillicothe; special friends Dewey and Wanda Leach  She was preceded in death by six sisters; five brothers; and a niece, Bertha Waston.   Donna was a 1945 graduate of Unioto High School.  Donna and Les both worked for the US Shoe Corporation for over 25 years, then moved to Grove City in 1966.  A few years later they began delivering new vehicles across the country for the Horton Emergency Vehicle company, and did so for 17 years.   The family would like to thank Capital City Hospice, Laurus Home Health, Green Team and Story Point for their excellent care.   Graveside services, in Floral Hills Memory Garden, will be announced at a later date.
