Donald Scarberry

Donald R. Scarberry, 71, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord, 4:15 am, Wednesday, December 09, 2009, at his home, following an extended illness. He was born February 28, 1938 in Wayne, WV to Ervin and Frankie Graves Scarberry. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara T. Porter; his father; two sons, Ronnie "Bunky" Scarberry and Bert Michael; and a grandchild. He is survived by his mother; Frankie Abbott, of Columbus, OH; two sons and two daughters, Danny (Gail) Scarberry, of Genoa, WV, Angela Fosnaugh, of Georgetown, OH, William Scarberry, of Columbus, OH, and Doshie Elizabeth Scarberry, of Londonderry, OH; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother James (Vera) Scarberry of Chillicothe. Mr. Scarberry was a former dredge operator. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
