Donald Park

Donald L. Park Sr., 78, of Chillicothe died 9:15 am, Thursday, May 24, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Sunday, May 27, 2007 in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Randy Rhinehart officiating. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm Saturday at Haller's. He was born May 21, 1929 in Ross County to the late James and N. Irene Rhodes Park. On October 19, 1951 he married the former Elizabeth "Betty" Hollis who survives. Also surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law Donald (Anita) Park Jr., Michael (Joyce) Park, all of Chillicothe, daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa (John) Angus of Chillicothe, and Cathy (Mark) Ramey of Waverly; grandchildren, Amy Lahrmer, Angela and Crystal Park, Mark and Stephanie Angus, Mark Ramey Jr., Becky (Lance) Duncan; great-grandchildren Alyssa, Alexis, and Abigail Lahrmer, Arianna Leist, Blake Massie, Dakota Angus, Candace and Landen Ramey, Mekeil and Autumn Duncan; a brother, Glenn Park of Chillicothe, a sister Phyllis Johnson of Chillicothe, and a brother-in-law, Russell Bethel of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren: Jason Park and Karrie Jo Ramey, one brother and five sisters. Mr. Park retired from CHILPACO in 1994 where he worked as an electrician. He was a member of the Eagles, Aerie 600 and the CHILPACO Union, Local 988. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and his beagle dogs. He served his country in the US Army.
