Donald Pack

Donald G. Pack, 74, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at 11:47am Sunday, August 15, 2010, in Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born July 13, 1936, in Chillicothe, to the late Dawn Walter and Ava Glenn Kiser Pack. On February 15, 1964, he married the former Geraldine Kiser, who survives. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters-in-law Phillip (Denease) Pack, Georgetown, TX; Gary (Fern) Pack, Waverly, OH; Larry (Sharon) Pack, Baltimore, MD; brother-in-law Shannon (Joyce) Kiser, South Shore, KY; sisters-in-law Beverly Pack, Centerville, OH; Bonnie Pack, Webbville, KY; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Norman E. and Bernard W. Pack. Don was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1954. He worked as an electrician and was a member of the IBEW, Local 934. He was a member of Chillicothe Baptist Church. Don loved to garden and was a member of the Ohilco Garden Club and the Ross Co. Fair Flower Committee. He and Geraldine had received many blue ribbons over the years for their flowers. He also enjoyed tinkering with and repairing vintage radios. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, August 18, at the Chillicothe Baptist Church with Pastor John Burris and Don's brother Pastor Gary Pack officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-7pm at HALLER FUNERAL HOME.
