Donald Haubeil

Donald E. Haubeil, 65, of Chillicothe, died at 10:00pm Thursday, October 23, 2008, in his home, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, October 27, in the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call from 12-2pm Monday at Haller Funeral Home. Don was born April 16, 1943, in Chillicothe, OH, to the late Albert Roy, Sr. and Dorothy Bias Haubeil. In 1979, he married the former Rose Marie Hernandez, who survives. Also surviving are his children: DaVonna L. (Brian) Charles, of El Cajon, CA; Christopher D. (Eileen) Haubeil, Seattle, WA; Kelley D. Stanley; and David A. Haubeil, both of Dayton, OH; grandchildren: Samantha, Blake, Mason, Trevor and Miranda; brothers and sisters-in-law Roy (Jewel) Haubeil; Rick (Janie) Haubeil, all of Chillicothe; a sister and brother-in-law Nancy (Chuck) Burton, Paris, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Don was an electrical contractor and inspector for Montgomery County. He was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1961. He enjoyed traveling, music and computers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adena Hospice, 111 W. Water St., Chillicothe.
