Donald Hardesty

Donald G. Hardesty, 69, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 27, 2016. He was born March 12, 1946 in Ross Co. the son of the late Harley J. and Hazel I. McKenzie Hardesty. On March 8, 2002 he married the former Arlene Grayson, who survives. Also surviving are a step-daughter and son-in-law, Brenda (Larry) Vickers; a brother, Carol (Linda) Hardesty; four sisters, Roberta (Glen) Allison, Janet Seymour, Lois (Bill) Good, Faith (Dale) Thompson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hardesty Sr, and three sisters, Rosemary Stanhope, Patty Hesson and Garnet Ison. Donald attended Rising Son Church until failing health prevented him. He was a loving husband and brother who touched many lives for the Lord. Donald loved to fish and spent many hours sitting by a lake or pond doing just that. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Rev. Shirley Justice officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call 5-7 pm Tuesday at Haller's.
