Donald Goldsberry

Donald E. Goldsberry Donald E. Goldsberry, 71, of Chillicothe, died 3:34 pm Sunday, November 12, 2006 in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, following an extended illness. He was born August 25, 1935 in Chillicothe to Marshall N. and Margie Enoch Goldsberry. On June 27, 1959 he married Margie M. Davis, who survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Diana L. (David) Katterheinrich, of Holland, OH; a son, David E. (Lorena) Goldsberry, of Round Rock, TX; two grandchildren, Trevor Bowman and David Crawford; two sisters, Betty Reutinger, of Chillicothe and Jeannette Grossnickle, of Poughkeepsie, NY; two brothers, Robert and Harry (Patty) Goldsberry, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Wonderleigh and Hazel Dunaway; and four brothers, George, Neal, James and Walter Goldsberry. Mr. Goldsberry was a Korean Conflict Marine veteran. He had retired from Kaiser Aluminum and was an avid hunter and race car fan. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. John Cooper officiating. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Haller's.
