Dona Irene Beedy, 73, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday afternoon, September 24, 2020 at the Ohio State University Medical Center.
She was born on May 23, 1947, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary Jean (Martin) Jones. On July 29, 1975, she married John J. Beedy, and together they shared just over 40 years of marriage before his passing on September 11, 2015.
Surviving are her daughters, Sheri (Jeff) Gleason, of South Salem, OH; Kimberly Jones, of Chillicothe, and Traci Ramsey, also of Chillicothe; her step-son, James L. Beedy, of Lancaster; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; as well as several siblings and extended family members.
Dona worked at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center as a dietician for over 40 years before retiring.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral service.
