Dianne Swingle

Dianne S. Swingle, age 83, of Wellston, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Heartland of Chillicothe.    She was born April 3, 1935 in Barberton, Ohio to the late George H. Hill and Ritchie Ervin Hill.  Dianne was a 1953 graduate of Wellston High School.  She was a member of the Wellston Church of the Nazarene and a former member of the Red Hat Society.  Dianne loved the Christmas season and you would hear her talking about Christmas all year long.  A few of her favorite past times included playing bingo, going shopping, and cooking for her husband and family, but most of all, Dianne enjoyed just spending time with her family.  She is survived by her children, Darren Swingle (Brenda) of Chillicothe, OH, Dawn Duffield (Gene) of Cranberry Township, PA, Douglas Swingle (Jessica) of Hillsboro, OH, and David Swingle (Karen) of Wheelersburg, OH;  grandchildren, Christopher Swingle, Justin Schoolcraft, Dylan Swingle, Tiffany Chandler, Connor Swingle and Michael Black; and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Cameron Black.  Besides her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Dean W. Swingle in 2016; sisters, Thelma Prins and Beverly Pausch; and brothers, Cedric Hill, Ervin Hill, Keith Hill and Ronald Hill.    In keeping with Dianne's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 7 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston with Pastor Don Fairchild officiating.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Dianne's memory to the Wellston Church of the Nazarene, 39834 St. Rt. 93, Wellston, Ohio 45692
