Dianiah Washington

Dianiah L. Washington, 74, passed from this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the Adena Greenfield Medical Center. Dianiah fought a good fight and she kept the faith through a short, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born April 26, 1947 to the late Burl and Anna (Craddolph) Lee. She was preceded in death by brothers Joseph Harris, William Lee, Paul Lee, Keith Lee, and a sister, Nancy Lee.
Surviving is her beloved husband "Bob Bob" of 22 years, Bobbie T. Washington. She leaves behind 2 sons, Myron Lee Brown, and Burl Wilbur "BW" Brown; 2 step-children, Tamara Washington, and Bobbie Washington, Jr.; 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers Robert (Vonnie) Harris, Thomas Lee, Gregory Lee, Dezi (June) Lee; sisters Toyia (Earl) Crosswhite and Charlene Lee; a host of nephews and nieces she called "brats", all whom she loved dearly.
Dianiah was a 1966 graduate of Washington Court House High School and a former employee of Ross Correctional Institution.
She was a faithful member of The Lifting Up Jesus Church. She loved serving in the Church. In spite of physical limitations, she found things and ways to be a blessing.
Dianiah was genuine and all heart. She loved giving and specialized in giving thoughtful gifts. On the journey, she kept the faith and called on the name of the Lord. She leaves a legacy of love, laughter and faith. Her loving kindness will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be held at Zion Baptist Church, 84 S. Clinton Rd., Chillicothe, on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1:00pm with Elder Marshall Upshaw officiating and Pastor Obadiah E. Harris, eulogist. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 12:00pm until the time of the service.
