Demorris Frasure

Demorris G. Frasure, 58, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly at 7:39am Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at his residence. He was born February 8, 1955, in Martin, KY, to Demorris G., Sr., and Velma G. (Meade) Frasure. He is survived by his mother, Velma Ward; sisters and brother-in-law Teresa Ward, both of Chillicothe; Jennifer (Rob) Fitzpatrick, Piketon; nieces Courtney and Shallyn; a nephew Mark; great-nephew Zack; a special aunt Pat Newman; a special cousin Steve Ward; and a special friend Phyllis Fox, of Dublin, OH. He was predeceased by his father, Demorris G. Frasure, Sr.; and his step-father Franklin Ward. Demorris received his bachelor's degree from Shawnee State University and had worked as a social worker and teacher. He was a Christian. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, May 31, at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Huntington Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm at Haller Funeral Home.
