Delorles Maxson

Delorles E. Maxson, 82, of Chillicothe, died 1:07 pm, Thursday, April 8, 2010, at her home, following an extended illness. She was born April 25, 1927 in Flatwoods, KY to the late Frank and Nanette Wright Stapleton. On April 19, 1944 she married Frank Maxson, who died April 10, 2009. Survivors include three sons, Ned (Judy) Maxson, of Millfield, OH, Toby Maxson, Caldwell, OH, and Brett (Jodie) Maxson, Beulaville, NC; two daughters, Terry Spangler, of Frankfort, OH and Vickie Maxson, of Austin, TX; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Mrs. Maxson was a member of the First Church of God; a former member of the Ross Co. Senior Citizens; a Goodwill Volunteer; and a former teacher's aide at Central School. She was a CHS Band Booster and supported Mac's Vacs Bowling Team and the Chillicothe Paints. She loved music and played the organ and sang all her life. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home, Pastor Larry Ault officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm Monday at Haller's. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God, 780 E. Water St., Chillicothe, OH 45601, if you so desire.
