Decie Hettinger

Decie F. Hettinger, 75, of Bainbridge, died unexpectedly at 3:23pm, October 12, 2022, at her residence.   She was born May 31, 1947, in Yellowbud, OH to the late Virgil and Gertrude Marie (Gerald) Holbrook.  On August 2, 1993, she married Charles J. Hettinger, who preceded her in death November 12, 2020.   Surviving are her children: Edward (Rebecca) Davis, Jr., of Bainbridge, Patrick (Lori) Davis, Chillicothe, Mellissa Hettinger-Bonar (Norman Eggart), Carsonville, MI, James Hettinger (and companion), Washington C.H., Gyun (Byron) Woollett; 8 grandchildren: Evelyn, Deborah, Megan, Brittany, Reid, Johnny, Charles (Kati), Ceara; 4 great-grandchildren: Aeson, Ayla, Osha and Elias; her sister Judy Russell, of Circleville; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by 7 brothers and a sister.   Decie wrote this sentiment for her family to remember: "You can go ahead and cry, 'cause tears are liquid love coming from the heart."   The family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm Monday at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
