Deborah Doherty, 71, of Chillicothe, passed away late Wednesday night, November 30, 2022 at Westmoreland Place in Chillicothe, following an extended illness.
She was born November 22, 1951 in Leominster, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Philip Doherty, Sr, and Dolores M. Doherty.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, Philip Doherty, Jr., of Nekoosa, WI; three nieces, Aisha (Sean) Young, Kaitlyn (Kyle) Stanko, and Abigail Passineau; three nephews, Richard (Tonya) Rusk, Lacrosse, WI, Corde (Anna) Doherty, Nekoosa, WI, and Matthew Passineau, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; a brother-in-law, Mario Genzone; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as several close friends in Wisconsin Rapids and her best friend, Sheilah Gray, of Chillicothe. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Colleen Passineau, and Karen Genzone; and her nephews, Joshua P. Doherty.
Deb was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1970. She lived in several areas including Massachusetts, Ohio, Nevada, and Wisconsin. While living in Las Vegas and Wisconsin Rapids, she worked as a Casino card dealer, and then as a draftsman for various agencies. In her free time, she enjoyed going fishing, antiquing, art, reading, and especially warm weather.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services.
