Deborah Sue Conrad, 78, of Ashville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, March 11, 2026 at Mt. Carmel Grove City Hospital.
She was born March 10, 1948, in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Richard Bethel and Patricia (Melvin) Ward Pearce. On August 26, 1967, she married the love of her life, Charles David Conrad, who survives.
Also surviving are their beloved children, Shelly (Michael) Dennis, and Ryan (Lynette) Conrad; their grandchildren, Michael Dennis, Ian (Dr. Elizabeth Reiner) Dennis, Andrea (James) Montour; Alison (Jacob) McNabb, and Kennedy (Patrick) Kruse; great-grandchildren, Roma Dennis, Vienna Dennis, and Kensington McNabb; her siblings, Richard Michael Bethel and Cindy Ossing; her sister-in-law, Connie Chandler; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended church family members and beloved friends.
Debbie was a member of the Chillicothe First Church of the Nazarene, where she and her husband Charles enjoyed attending weekly services. They also loved serving community meals at the church each week and creating blessing boxes for the troops.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Schinkle officiating. A graveside service at the Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston, Ohio will follow at 2:00pm. Friends are invited to join the family for visitation from 10:00am until the time of the service.
