Deanna L. (Beam) Turton, 62, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord on October 2, 2006, at her residence, surrounded by her husband, loving family and a dear friend. She was born June 30, 1944, in Chillicothe, to Leroy W. and Irene L. (Hall) Beam. On June 30, 1989, she married Philip A. Turton, who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Irene L. Aldenderfer; sons Brian (Cathy) Angus, Chillicothe; Brad (Stephanie) Angus, Gastonia, NC; a brother Dwight (Susan) Beam; sisters Jeanie (Charles) Strong, Deborah (Rick) McDonald; and Pamela Angelo, all of Chillicothe; grandsons Larry Angus, Chillicothe; and Caleb Angus, Circleville; step-daughters Jennie Turton, Blanchard, MI; Liana Turton, Phoenix, AZ; aunts Rosalind (Charles) Brooks, Patricia Hopkins, and Catherine Snyder; an uncle H. Glenn (Marvine) Hall; four step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; 7 nieces; 3 nephews; 7 great-nieces; 3 great-nephews; and many special friends including Dr. Richard (Lucinda) Lockwood, Sandy Smith, Joyce Johnson, and Lydia Newman. She was predeceased by her father; step-father; a sister Patricia; brothers Ronald and Robert Beam; and maternal and paternal grandparents. Deanna lived and worked in Phoenix, AZ for 25 years. Prior to her death, she was employed by Dr. Richard Lockwood as an Ophthalmic Technician. A celebration of her life will be held at 6:00pm Thursday, October 5, at the Crouse Chapel Church with Pastor Doug Fox officiating. Private graveside services will follow at the convenience of the family in Meade Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
