Dean Schadle

December 13, 1942 — September 28, 2023

Dean Lewis Schadle age 80, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed after an extended illness on

September 28, 2023, surrounded by family.

Dean was a twin born on December 13, 1942 in Georgetown, Ohio to Charles Kenneth Schadle

and Frances (Bartlow) Schadle. He graduated from Ripley Union Lewis High School and

married the love of his life and highschool sweetheart, Linda (Bauer) Schadle in 1965. They

have been married for 58 years and he claimed Linda was his "million dollar woman". Dean

worked in many different jobs and retired from Central Installation in Cincinnati. He was a

member of Moose Lodge 1626 of Chillicothe where he loved going down to visit with all his

buddies. He loved fishing, noodling, hunting, mushroom hunting, gardening, being ornery and

spending time with his family and friends. His biggest happiness in life was time with his family.

He taught his daughters how to do everything they needed in life and always provided for his

family when ever needed. He was a loving hard working man who always tried to help anyone

who was in need. Dean always valued showing love and staying in touch with his nieces and

nephews. He was especially proud of his grandchildren, Ryan, Gage, Brooke and their families,

Hannah, Cora and Mackenzie. The absolute greatest joy in his life was his great

granddaughter, Cora Taylor. He loved to play patty cake with her and tell her about going fishing

and all kinds of things to make her giggle. He was also very close to The Hathaways and the

Bevards and loved them as his own. He spent many of his last days hanging out with his good

buddy, Flash. He always liked to prank his sisters- in- law by frying up "chicken", they would

later find out it was not chicken when he asked "how do you like that groundhog?". There were

lots of water fights, you never knew when a bucket of water was going to hit you. His friends

and girls spent many 5am mornings cutting wood and berry picking with him.. He will be missed

by many.

He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, and three brothers. He is survived by his wife,

Linda, daughters Deana and MIchelle, his best friend (dog) Bailey; grandchildren Brooke

Corbett (Mackenzie Harris), Gage Taylor (Hannah), Ryan Taylor and the joy of his life, great

granddaughter Cora Taylor and many family and friends.
