Dean Bocook

Dean F. Bocook, Sr. Dean F. Bocook, Sr., 70, of Chillicothe, died 1:21 pm, March 14, 2007, in the Adena Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bocook was born September 1, 1936 in Jackson, OH to William F. and Virginia Sexton Bocook. In 1957 he married Yvonne Johnson, who died April 25, 2003. Survivors include two sons, Dean F. Bocook Jr., and Phillip F. Bocook, both of Chillicothe; two brothers, David Bocook, of Sardina, and Jesse Bocook, of Dayton; two sisters, Norma J. Marquis and Gladys Johnston, both of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, James, Paul, Frankie, Eugene, and Loren; and two sisters, Pauline Henry and Betty Bocook. Mr. Bocook was a self employed contractor, an Army and Marine Veteran having served with the Special Forces as a Raider. He was a member of the VFW, AMVETS and American Legion. Military graveside funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Wednesday in St. Margaret Cemetery, conducted by the United States Marine Corp. and the Ross County Veterans' Honor Guard. Calling hours will not be observed.
