David G. White, 85, of Chillicothe, died February 26, 2021, at his home, following an extended illness. He was born October 22, 1935 in Spargursville, OH to the late George G. and Beatrice L. Parker White. Survivors include three daughters, Nola White, Napoleon, OH, Lisa Lindner-Guiterrez, Chillicothe, and Cheryl (Ted) Kerns, Waynesville, OH; 6 grandchildren, Beth Immell, Shane Wolfe, Kimberly Roberts, Courtney Rhinehart, Tony Schiff, Kylie Stultz, Christina McKee and Amber Gebhard; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Ann Schiff; two grandchildren, Andrea Lindner and Derek Allan Bolaney; a sister, Evelyn Ost; and a brother, Robert White. David was a minister in the Methodist and Presbyterian churches. His career began in Londonderry and he retired as Reverend of Pastoral Care with Tabernacle Baptist Church. He was a member of the Lions for over 40 years, and very active in the communities he served, including but not limited to founding the Anchor House, serving on the Community Action, Senior Citizens, and Hopeton Village boards. He also built the first chapel at Old Man's Cave. His memorial service will be held 10:30 am, March 20, 2021 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Rev. Chris Brown officiating.
