David Weiderman

December 24, 1935 — July 27, 2008

David E. "Beanie" Weiderman, 72, of Chillicothe, died at his home Sunday July 27, 2008, following an extended illness. Services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday July 30 in the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Rolsten officiating. Private burial will held at the convenience of the family in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 12-2pm Wednesday at Haller Funeral Home. Dave was born December 24, 1935, in Chillicothe to the late William E. and Lee Etta Van Gundy Weiderman. On September 18, 1955, he married the former Claudia Jean Wilson, who survives. Also surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law Helen (Paul) Lallier, Chillicothe; Penny (Jim) McCloskey, Kingston; son David E. Weiderman II, Kingston; grandchildren: Paul (Andrea) Lallier II; April Lallier; Dr. James McCloskey; Michelle McCloskey; and Melissa McCloskey; great-grandchildren: Addison Lallier and Paul Wyatt Lallier; his mother-in-law Norma Wilson, Chillicothe; and his brother-in-law John (Glenda) Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Jack E. and Richard E. Weiderman; and his mother-in-law Helen Leffler. Dave retired as a pipefitter from the Mead Corporation in 1996. He was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1955. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church; F & AM Scioto Lodge No. 6; Appalachian Hillbillies, where he served as president for many years; Elks Lodge No 52, where he was Past Exalted Ruler; AmVets Post 4; Mead local 735; and was an avid Ohio State fan. Memorial contributions may be made to either: Grace Fellowship Church, Box 1029 Station A, Chillicothe; Adena Health Foundation, Friends of Hospice, 272 Hospital Road, Chillicothe; or the Appalachian Hillbillies c/o Doug Hayburn, 184 E. Main St., Chillicothe.
