David Franklin Pence Jr., 58, of Chillicothe, died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident April 30, 2023 in Fayette County.
He was born April 10, 1965 in Columbus, OH to David F. and Cecelia A. Caldwell Pence, who survive. Also surviving are his children, Levi Jubal, Debra Lynn Dewhurst, and Tawny Rachel; a sister, Sandy (French) Hamner; and his fiancée Nancy S. Staker.
David worked as a package handler for Amazon. He was a very staunch supporter of cannabis legalization for medical as well as recreational use. He was always willing to share his knowledge of growing cannabis and the use of CBDs for pain management as well as mental health. He fought the addiction of pain pills with cannabis and the love of his fiancée. Dave was at a good place in life when he succumbed to his injuries.
Following cremation, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
