David Lemaster

David D. Lemaster, 75, of Chillicothe, died July 3, 2021, at the Adena Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 24, 1945 in Ross Co. to the late Raymond and Lillie Higginbotham Lemaster.  On March 4, 2016 he married Brenda Ferguson Lemaster, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Melissa (fiancé Michael Halsey) Stiles and Desiree (Robert) McNeely, both of Chillicothe; a stepson, Kristopher (Jamie) Lemaster, of Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Misty (Ben) Aldenderfer and Heather Stevens; four step-grandchildren, Kirston, Savanah, Katlen and Iesha; four great-grandchildren, Blake, Ava, Lincoln and Nash; and four siblings, Barbara (James) Broughton, Troy, Rayomond "Sonny" (Karlan), Chilton, TX, Carl (Vicki) Lemaster, Kingston, and Michael (Ruth) Lemaster, Chillicothe.  He was preceded in death by a stillborn son, and his first wife, Karen Lemaster.

David retired from the Mead Corporation in 2005.  He was an avid fisherman, Cincinnati Reds baseball fan, and enjoyed travelling and eating.  Most important to David was his faith and his family.  He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, Dennis Ray officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call 5-7 pm Tuesday at Haller's.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Adena Health Foundation, Cancer Fund, 9 S.
