David Leeth

David Leeth, 82, of Chillicothe, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, at his home.

He was born February 25, 1944, in Pike County, Ohio, son of the late John and Hazel (Thompson) Leeth. On March 23, 1964, he married his beloved wife, Carolyn Sue (Ball) Leeth, who passed November 7, 2025.

Also surviving are their children, Jeff (Sandy) Leeth, and Anita (Dave) Kienzel; grandchildren, Trevor (Kelsea) Leeth, Tori (Oscar) Leeth, Tiffany Jenkins, Brittany (Chandler) Schneider, Steffany Jenkins, Megan (Mike) Burkett, and Olivia Kienzel; four beloved great-grandchildren, Chloe, Graycen, Jax, and Alonzo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Rich, Sunny, Doug, Cricket, and Carma.

David graduated from Western High School, Lathem OH. He was a proud veteran having served in the Air Force. He was know for his sense of humor and his love of sports, supporting the Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburg Steelers and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 1:00pm, with Chaplain Gary Sallade officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may join the family for visitation from 11:00am until the time of the service.
