David Dellinger

David H. Dellinger, 56, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly Monday, November 10, 2014, at his residence. He was born November 26, 1957, in Washington D.C. to Henry B. and Greta E. (Hall) Dellinger. Surviving is his mother, Greta Dellinger, of Acworth, GA; his sister and brother-in-law Debbie (Lee) Henderson, Acworth, GA; his fiancée Rosemary White, of Chillicothe; Rosemary's children Jenny (Matthew) Barr, of Marlboro, MA; Aaron (Alison) White, of Orlando, FL; his nieces and nephew Brad (Stefanie) Henderson; Brittany Henderson; a great-niece Layla Henderson; and Rosemary's grandchildren: Eva Barr and Mikey White. He was predeceased by his father Henry. David worked as an audiologist for the Veteran Affairs Medical Center. He took great pride in his work going above and beyond for his patients. He earned both his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from the University of Maryland. He enjoyed working with computers, electronics and any technical gadget. Dave will be remembered for always putting his family first. He served his country as a Captain in the US Army. Dave was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Friday, November 14, Rev. Lawrence Hummer, Celebrant. Military graveside services will be conducted in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. Friends may call Friday from 10-11am at St. Mary Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul of St. Mary, 61 S. Paint St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
