David Daily

David Daily, Jr., 61, died at 8:18pm March 25, 2018 at Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.   He was born March 21, 1957, in Chillicothe, to David, Sr. and Leona (Vandermark) Daily. Dave was a graduate of Unioto High School, Class of 1975. He worked more than 30 years for Adena Regional Medical Center as Director of Security. Dave was a big car enthusiast, especially of the Ford Mustang. He enjoyed going to swap meets and car shows, especially the Carlisle Car Show.   Dave is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Aaron and Holly Daily; grandchildren Theodore and Aurora Daily; his mother Leona Daily; his brother Scott Daily and companion Regina Dunn, all of Chillicothe; nieces Shay (Mont) Steele, and Jessica Daily; and nephews Justin Daily, all of Chillicothe, and Jason (Shannon) Daily, Columbus. He was predeceased by his father; his brother Craig Daily; maternal grandparents Ruth and Joseph Vandermark; and paternal grandmother Pauline Oberer.   Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, March 30, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory, with Chaplain Bruce Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 11am until 1pm Friday at the funeral home.
