David Cryder

David E. Cryder IV, 52, of Chillicothe, died 8:53 pm, Thursday, December 19, 2013, at his home, following a battle with cancer. He was born January 20, 1961 in Chillicothe to the late David E. and Martha J. Snyder Cryder. On October 17, 1987 he married the former Myra J. Davis, who survives. Also surviving is his son, Dyllon (Sydney) Cryder, of Chillicothe; two step-sons, Justin and Seth McClure, of Chillicothe; a grandchild, Hayli McClure; a sister, Cindy (Mike) Sheppard, of Jackson; and numerous extended family members. Mr. Cryder worked for Kenworth Truck and was an avid hunter. He especially enjoyed bow hunting. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call 11-2 pm Sunday at Haller's. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, Lucasville or OSU James Cancer Hospital.
