David Consolver

David M. Consolver 86, of Chillicothe, OH passed away Wednesday February 6th, 2013, in his home surrounded by his family. David worked at National Fireworks, VA Hospital, Mead Corporation and retired from the Federal Prison Industries. David enjoyed carpentry, hunting and was a 32 degree Mason, Scioto Lodge 6, F & AM. He is survived by his wife, Prissy Consolver (Lettalee Mason), daughter Ruth Ann Sellati (Val), granddaughter Brenda Shinn (Bill), grandson Bryan Arledge great grandchildren: Connor, Collin and Nathan Shinn and Brandon Arledge, step-grandchildren Eric Sellati, Sheri Gustafson (Chris) and Wendy Sellati. Also surviving are step-children Jeff Allen, Darrell Cottrill and Carrie Beisel (Bob), step grandchildren; Allison Turner (Brad) and son, Alex Allen, Nick and Jesse Beisel and Wesley and Mateo Cottrill, sisters-in-law; Eva Consolver, Margaret (Dee Dee) Gallaugher, and brother-in-law Frank Morris, nephews David E. Consolver (Cheryl) and family, Mark Consolver (Roberta) and family, Walter Gallaugher (Louise) and family, Gary Morris and daughter, neices Susan Glasgow and family, Sarah (Sally) Howas (Abdul), Margarete Lynn Swinehart (Derk) and family, Nikki Rarery and family, Sarah (Sally) Howas (Abdul), and Susan (Sissy) Glasgow and family. David is preceded in death by parents Nora and Finley Consolver; wife Helen Tope Consolver; brothers Dwight and Sherman Consolver; sisters Bonny Consolver, Jane Consolver Morris; grandson Barry Arledge; nephews Sherman Edward (Ned) Consolver Jr. and Roger Consolver. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, February 9, at the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Rossman officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Friday (today) from 5-7pm at Haller Funeral Home, where a Masonic Funeral will be conducted at 7pm. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Aladdin Shrine Hospital Assoc. for Children (A.S.H.A.C.), 3850 Stelzer Rd., Columbus, OH 43219, which aids in the costs of transportation of patients to and from Shriner Hospitals.
