David Bitter

David John Bitter, 66, of Chillicothe, died Friday, March 19, 2021, at his home.   He was born March 25, 1954 in Lakewood, OH to John and Mary Etta Abernathy Bitter, who survive.  Also surviving is his wife, Tina Caplinger; a daughter, Ann (Josh Hickle) Bitter, of Chillicothe, a grandson, Alexander Hickle; two brothers, Donald and Douglas Bitter; numerous nieces and nephews; and many well-loved in-laws.  He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Veronica Shoults Bitter.   David was a retired restaurant manager and a loving husband, father, and grandfather.   Following cremation, private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
