"Butch" D. W. Anderson Darrell William "Butch" Anderson, 60, of Chillicothe, died 4:39 pm, Saturday, February 7, 2009, in the Cleveland Clinic, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday in the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call 5-8 pm Wednesday at Haller's. He was born December 7, 1948 in Franklin County to Howard Elton and Edna Dungan Anderson. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Chris Barnhart Anderson; his children, Dr. Amy Lynne (Philip Schwadel) Anderson, of Lincoln, NE, Darrell Kevin Anderson and Amber Anderson Hamm, both of Chillicothe; his beloved grandchildren, Darian Anderson and Gabrielle Hamm, of Chillicothe; sisters, Linda Sells, of Washington CH and Jeri (Allen) Bookwalter, of Clarksburg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda (Brian) Moore, of Chillicothe, Marsha (Nathan) Clayton, of Huntington Beach, CA and Brenda (Phil) Starr, of Grove City; his mother-in-law, Betty Barnhart, of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Howard E. Barnhart. Following his 1967 graduation from Chillicothe High School, Butch served in the US Navy, then joined the family restaurant business and worked at both the Fox Farm Inn in Chillicothe and Anderson's Restaurant in Washington CH. In 1984 he joined Sysco Corporation as a food marketing associate, where he continued to work until the time of his death. Butch celebrated life with a crooked grin and a twinkle in his eye. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and "Papaw". He was an advocate for organ and blood donation and encouraged everyone to do the same.
