Danny Carsey

Danny J. Carsey, 59, of Greenfield, formerly of Chillicothe, was set free from this life 8:47 am, March 30, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, with his wife by his side. He was born August 7, 1953 in Harrisonville, OH to the late Joe and Hattie Hall Carsey. Survivors include his wife, April M. Lemaster Carsey; two sons, Daniel and Jamie (Melissa) Carsey, both of Chillicothe; stepsons, Austin and Dustin Combs; a grandchild, who was his "special buddy," Hadlee Faith Carsey; a sister, Carol Jewell; two brothers; Jerry Cline and David (Desiree) Howell; and special friends, Jim and Karen Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Leroy Howell, and a brother, James Cline. Danny was employed by Glatfelter, and had forty years of service. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 600 and the Mud Hog ATV Club. He loved to race rail buggies, go mudding, and spend time with family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Ken Burchett officiating. Friends may call 5-8 pm Thursday at Haller's.
